the hotel is conveniently situated, making it easy to stroll through the nearby archaeological zone el chanal, which is only about 4.5 km away, and the beautiful museo de la ciudad de colima, just over 6 km from the hotel, both perfect for a weekend wander.

Two towels for a family of three.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Double Room while visiting the nearby Archaeological Zone El Chanal. The property had a nice layout, making it a great spot for a quick stay, but I was disappointed by the lack of basic supplies like toiletries and hand towels. I appreciated the modern amenities and the clean room, which made it comfortable overall.

During my stay at Zar Colima, I found the property very appealing with its beautiful gardens and a welcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness of my room was commendable, and I appreciated the convenience of the location, which made exploring the area enjoyable.

However, the mattress was uncomfortable and quite hard. The air conditioning unit was noisy and leaked water onto the floor, which was unsafe, especially with a pregnant wife. Additionally, I faced issues with limited towels. we only had two for three people. Breakfast included only coffee and toast, with extra charges if booked through a site. While the property has potential, these inconveniences made it less enjoyable.
